Last updated: May 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Ameno (the “app”). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. License

Ameno is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. The license is non-transferable and remains subject to Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for App Store apps, except where these Terms modify it.

2. Subscriptions

Ameno offers the following plans, available through your Apple ID:

For auto-renewing subscriptions:

3. Free Trial

If your Apple ID is eligible, the Annual subscription may include a 7-day free trial. The trial begins when you confirm your subscription. To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, in your App Store account settings.

4. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple per its standard policy at reportaproblem.apple.com. Kinuvy cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Not Spiritual, Medical, or Mental-Health Counsel

Ameno is a tool to support personal prayer practice. It is not a substitute for pastoral guidance, medical advice, mental-health treatment, or professional counseling. If you are in crisis or need professional help, please contact a qualified provider or appropriate emergency services.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Ameno only for lawful, personal purposes, and not to attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the app or its content.

7. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, its content (including prayer text, illustrations, and copy), and the Ameno name are the intellectual property of the developer. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Direct liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Ameno at any time by deleting the app. Subscription cancellation is handled through your Apple ID account settings. The developer may terminate or limit access to the app for material breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable law of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
